Something is not working, or you want your data back.

Both are handled by a person, at the addresses below. Anything that has stopped you publishing is answered first.

Legal

legal@mypoststation.com

The Terms, and anything a lawyer sent you about us.

We reply within one working day, Monday to Friday, West Africa Time (UTC+1). We are a small team and there is no telephone line — the trade is that the reply comes from someone who can actually change the thing you are writing about.

What to put in the message

A first reply that is an answer, rather than a question back, needs four things:

  • Your workspace name — the one at the top of the dashboard. It is how we find you.
  • What you expected to happen, and what happened instead.“It broke” and “the post said scheduled but never appeared” are different problems.
  • Roughly when. Every action in your workspace is timestamped in the activity record, so an approximate time is usually enough to find the exact event.
  • A screenshot, if there was a message on screen.

Never send us a password — not yours, and not your social account’s. We do not have your social password, we cannot use one, and there is no situation in which support will ask for it.

A post did not go out

Open the post in the dashboard first. A publish that failed records the reason on the post itself, and roughly nine times in ten it is something you can fix in a minute: the connected account’s authorisation has expired and needs reconnecting, or the destination platform rejected the media for its own format rules.

If the post says published and nothing is on the account, or it says nothing at all, send us the post and the time. Publishing is protected against sending the same post twice, so it is safe to tell us before you try again.

Someone should not have access any more

Remove them in Team and they are locked out on their next click — there is no password to change and no session to wait out. If you think a connected social account itself has been compromised, disconnect it in Connected accounts, and revoke MyPostStation from the platform’s own settings as well, which ends access even if you cannot reach us.

Then write to support@mypoststation.com with URGENT in the subject. The activity record will show exactly what was done and by whom, and we will send it to you.

Deleting your account and your data

You can delete your own account without asking us, and you do not need a reason.

  1. In the mobile app: Settings → Delete account. It takes effect immediately.
  2. By email: write to privacy@mypoststation.com from the address on the account. We confirm within one working day and complete it within 30 days.

Checking it afterwards. Deleting your account in the app gives you a confirmation code. The deletion status page turns that code into a plain account of what was deleted and what was kept, and it asks for no sign-in — which is the point, because by then you no longer have one.

What is destroyed. Your sign-in, your profile, the contact details held against your membership, and every device you were signed in on, at once. After this you cannot sign in, and nothing in the product will use those details to reach you again. Ask us to close a whole workspace and we delete its content and media within 30 days — by hand, on your request.

What is kept, and why.The activity record of what was approved and published stays. Those entries are each locked to the one before them, so removing or rewriting one breaks every entry after it and destroys the tamper-evidence the whole product is sold on — and a workspace owner has to be able to answer “who approved this?” about someone who has since left. That lock is why the entries keep the name you had when each was written, and why entries about an invitation keep the address it was sent to: we cannot take them out without breaking the chain. Everywhere else you show as “Deleted user”. Billing records are kept for as long as tax law requires.

What we cannot delete. Anything already published to Instagram, Facebook or TikTok lives on that platform, not here. Deleting your account does not remove it — you have to delete those posts on the platform itself, and you can do that whether or not you still use us.

One restriction, and it is deliberate: if you are the only owner of a workspace, make someone else an owner first. A workspace with no owner leaves everyone else in it stranded in something nobody can administer, pay for, or leave cleanly.

Getting a copy of your data

Write to privacy@mypoststation.com from the address on your account and we will send you what we hold about you — your profile, your posts and their captions, and the activity entries naming you — within 30 days. Depending on where you live you may have further rights under the Nigeria Data Protection Act or the UK and EU GDPR, and this is where you exercise them.
